Clubs, cricketers , and sportsmen everywhere will find the greatest advantage in obtaining their outfits from J. L. , F. and Co., arising from the fact that they are the actual Manufacturers of nearly all their Goods ; from the extensive stock kept by them, and the facilities they possess for executing orders promptly , also for making Goods to order , and effecting Repairs in best style . A special feature of their business is the exceptionally large stock of high -class Cricket Bats always maintained by them . They are thus enabled always to supply thoroughly seasoned Goods, such as can be sent withconfidence to the hottest climates. Officers in HerMajesty's Service , at homeor abroad , by entrusting their orders to J. L. , F. and Co. , may place the most implicit reliance on their interests being attended to, at least , as well as by a personal visit . R e m i t t a n c e s . J. L. , F. and Co. beg to inform the public that Orders from persons unknownto them should invariably be accompanied by a remittance to the value of the goods ordered , or, if this is unknown, to the probable value . Inattention to this particular is likely to cause delay. A n ysurplus remittances will be returned on demand, or passed to the credit of the purchaser . Incases where accounts have been opened with clubs , &c., it is necessary that the order should be signed by the Secretary or other responsible officer . P.O.O. should be made payable at the Chief Office .
