Useful change bowler, varying his pace well. DASHWOOD, T. H. K. (Wellington ).- Asafe and effective bat : equally good at cutting anddriving . Goodalso in deep field ; can bowl. FASTNEDGE, C. D.-Careful bat, but can hit hard at times . Good wicket- keeper. GALLOWAY, F. T.-Has the makingof a goodbat. A safe field . HARFORD, H. M.-Adashing bat, with sound defence . A capital out-field . HIGHLEY, R E V. H.-A very patient bat. Very reliable in the field . Fair changebowler (mediumpace). LYTTON, H O N. N. S. (Eton).-Is a capital bat, with a very taking style ; steady in defence , but can hit very hard. Goodfield and bowler, with high delivery ; good length ; breaks both ways. PIGG, C. (Wellingborough and Cambridge ).-Hasacted as captain of the team . Is a good judge of the game, knowing every point thoroughly . Very obstinate bat, with a grand late cut and excellent forward play. W a sin splendidformthis last season. REYNOLDS, A. B. (Winchester).- H a sthe making of a good all-round cricketer , butshould exercise more patience and perseverance . Very useful as a wicket-keeper. WALES, E. H.-Abatsman always to be relied on to get runs. Cankeep wicket well , andworkshardin the field .
