Lancashire . Manchester , May 30, 31 and June 1. Thoughrain admitted of some play on both the first two days the actual cricket in the match only occupied an hour and forty minutes . Twenty-five minutes on the first and an hour and a quarter on the second, that was the extent of the play. In that time Lancashire scored 38 for the loss of three batsmen-A. N. Hornby, Sugg and Tyldesley , all of w h o mwere bowled by A l e cH e a r n e. (2) Kentv. Warwickshire. Birmingham, June 2, 3 and 4. Another game not half finished . Rain did not admit of a ball being bowled either on the first or the third day. On the second there were frequent interruptions . Still , there was sufficient cricket to allow of a full innings to Warwickshire and half of another to Kent. There was little , too, to choose as far as the game went. W. G. Quaife's 44 for Warwickshire and J. R. Mason's 32 for Kentwere the only scores over seventeen . Martin took five of the ten Warwickshire wickets for 34 runs . Warwickshire , 112. Kent , 62 (5 wickets).
