More (captain ) : A very steady bowler, coming quickly off the pitch with a puzzling slow ball . Bowled splendidly throughout the season. Fell off in batting , no doubt owing to his hard work as bowler . Hits very hard , and has a good defence . Very safe field . R. N. R. Blaker : Asplendid bat , having all the makings of a first -class cricketer . Hits well all round the wicket , his cuts and leg -hits being magnifi- cent. A sa bowler is fast but erratic . Fields and throws in in superb fashion . F. Young : Apatient and steady bat, slow in making his runs, but a useful m a n to go in first . His fielding has improved greatly since last year.
