An excellent field , especially at short slip . A good hard-working captain . *P. B. Warburton : A good slow left -hand bowler. In some matches, and especially against the two Schools , his length was wonderfully steady . Adisappointing bat. A fair field . *C. D ' A. Crofton : Quite above the average of school wicket-keepers . Wentin last , and was frequently useful to his side when others failed . H. W. Atchison : His form throughout the year was a disappoint- m e n tto all w h oh a dseen h i mbat at the end of the previous season. C a n bowl as a change for a few overs . K. O.
