Shaky at present whenhe goes in,but is young , and should make a good cricketer . Good field in the country . P . Eglington : A colt of great promise ; small but strong . Watchesthe ball anddefends his wicket remarkably well ; cuts very clean and hard , and can hit all round . Weak point hitting at straight balls to square -leg and mis- timing slow ones . *E. A. Wilson : has workedhard at it, but fortune has not favoured his efforts . Strong, but fails to apply his strength . G. T. B.
