Woodward (captain ) : Veryfine bat, especially in his cutting and off -side play ; invariably successful for the college . Splendid field and fair change bowler. D. Christopherson : Played several good innings , though somewhatinconsistent . Useful slow left -handbowler. T. H. K. Dashwood: Verygood bat. Most consistent run- getter . W a sof great use to the side . Fine field . G. Jordan : Unfortunately able to play but little . Goodhard-hitting bat. Finebowler, and splendid field at mid-off. C. J. Reid: First -class wicket -keeper. Useful but uncertain bat. E. H. V. Weigall : One of the most useful players on the side . Good hard- working bowler who never tires . Good bat. E. H. Gibson : As a bat was not u ptohis form of the previous year . Useful reserve wicket -keeper. Slow field . G. Anderson: Goodsteady bat with stubborn defence . Hasbeen knownto bowllobs . R. E. Foster : See Oxford University Eleven. E. C. Lee : Most useful cricketer . Finehard hitter , somewhatlacking in defence . Goodfast bowler and field . E. Barlow : Opened the season wonderfully , and with many not outs. Secured a very high average , which is perhaps a little too flattering . Goodfield at cover . C. R. H a y: Useful left -handslow bowler. Slow in the field.
