Clubs , cricketers , and sportsmen everywhere will find the greatest advantage in obtaining their outfits from J. L. , F. and Co. beg to inform the public that Orders from persons unknown to them should invariably be accompanied by a remittance to the value of the goods ordered , or, if this is unknown, to the probable value . Inattention to this particular is likely to cause delay . A n ysurplus remittances will be returned on demand, or passed to the credit of the purchaser . In cases where accounts have been opened with clubs , &c., it is necessary that the order should be signed by the Secretary or other responsible officer .
