W (Nov. 4). Oneof the best all-round cricketers at Charterhouse School in his day. Alieutenant in the Royal Artillery whenhe died at the early age of 24. HORNBY, C. L. (March). A member of the Harrow Elevens of 1862 and '63, and scored well against Etonin the latter year. W a sin the A r m y, and oneof the few officers whoescaped from MajubaHill .
