Very active in the field . K. Nicholls (5.68 ) : A steady bowler, medium-pace right ; has done good service throughout the season . A painstaking bat, with a style of his own. A. D. Low((4.76 ) : His style is good, andhe has greatly improved in defence ; with care he should develop still more next season. Fields well at point . D. Lisle Jones (3-92 ) : Hasthe making of a good bat ; hits hard, and was very useful on several occasions . Bowlsa good length ball , but was seldom required . H. Phillips (1.83 ) : Plays with astraight bat, andhas improved. Promises to be useful as a bowler, and cantake the wicket . J. M. H. Jones (1.50 ) : A hard-working field . Н. Е.
