Langdale (1895-6 ) : Haskept wick with considerable success throughout the season , but with the exception of one ortwo cases has been disappointing as a bat. S. C. A. Cosser (1895-6 ) : Fair medium-pace left -hand bowler . Bats very well at times . Good field . L. J. Le Fleming (1896): ( Goodbut uncertain bat. Fair field . Can bowl . W. E. C. Hutchings (1896) : Bats very well sometimes, but is too confident of his powers. Goodfield at point . E. Beeching (1896 ) . Very useful bat, with good punishing powers . Good field . F. W. Orr (1896 ) : Good slow right -hand bowler with a leg break. Hashad hard luck in number of chances missed off his bowling. Fair bat. Good field . A. R. Power (1896 ) : Has played a few very good innings in good style , otherwise he has beendisappointing . Indifferent field . F. V. Hutchings (1896 ) : Has been very useful on several occasions , and ought to bevery good next year. Very slow but certain field . G. A. Mason (1896) : Goodright -handmedium-pace bowler. Verypoor bat. Fair field . M. F. J. Postlethwaite (1896 ) : Medium-pace right -hand bowler . Hasbowled fairly well all through the season . Goodpunishing powers as a bat. Very uncertain field . C. J.
