Wilson , captain (1893-4-5-6 ) : Withcare ought to develop into a first -class bat, hitting well all round the wicket and possessing very good defence . With the ball has very frequently met with great success . Excellent field . Has filled the post of captain with great success . *W. M. Gordon (1894-5-6 ) : A good bat, with somevery nice strokes on the off . Sometimes too much inclined to hit before getting set . Safe and fast in the long field , picking up and throwing in well. Great thanks are due to himfor his kindness in relieving Wilson of the captain's somewhatarduous duties off the field . D. D. Wilson (1894-5-6 ) : Fair bat with a nice style and gooddefence . Should pay more attention to his running. Goodfield at mid- off. *E. Barlow (1895-6 ) : A fair bat with stiff style , but too eager to score . Avery good field at point ,ravely allowing the ball to get past . *F. F. Burgess (1895-6) : A disappointing bat, but has played one or two good innings . Moderateslow bowler, but tries to get too much" work" on the ball . Safe
