Though the run-getting was fairly high throughout there were only two individual scores of over 50 in the match. These were both o n the Australian side , and both were over 90, though Iredale's second of 94 had the advantage over Graham's first of 96 in being not out. In the first innings of each side there were nine double figures , a proof of the even scoring . The exception was in the second innings of Notts. Here seven of the eleven were only accountable for 18 between them, and Mr. Jones ' 49 was the highest score of the match for the side . TheAustralians won by six wickets .
