On all sides the team, it is pleasant to be able to record, made a very favourable impression They received, too, unvarying kindness everywhere they went so that the tour was replete with pleasant recollections for both English and Australian cricketers. Further, it is satisfactory to learn that the trip was financially a success, so much so that the Committee of the Melbourne Club have already been empowered by their general meeting to negotiate, presumably with the Trustees of the Association Ground at Sydney, for another visit of English cricketers, and at an early date. * The results of the tour will be gathered from the .following statistics:— Results o f Matches.
