G.—Born at Mickleton, April 1, 1862. 5 ft. 11 in.; 12 st. 21b. A fast left-hand bowler, with high delivery, and break from leg; not so successful last season. Address: County Ground, Bristol. Gin.; 12st. 4lbs.; a very good slow’ bowler; took over 100 wickets for the County last season ; fair bat. Address: Winchester College ; e Winchester College. HEREFORDSHIRE. B ow le r (Leicester).—Good bat, scoring very consistently; a good bowler, fast, and with good pitch ; and works hard in every department of the game, fielding very wre ll; a good point. O vens (Hereford).-—An erratic bat, but scores freely when set; a very sharp * field ; keeps wicket with indifferent success. S h e p h e r d (Hereford).—A good bat, playing with care and judgment; medium right-hand bowler, and on his day unplayable ; fair field. HERTFORDSHIRE.
