F oster , H. K. (Malvern and Oxford).—Plays for Worcestershire. YO RK SH IR E . F rank , B. W.—A good all-round player; dangerous bowler and run-getting bat; safe field. H aw ke , Lord (Eton and Cambridge).—Fine bat, with plenty of h it ; scores fast when set; had a most successful season, and came out with the good average of 26*91 for the County, and scored over a thousand runs in all matches. J ackson , F. S. (Harrow and Cambridge). —One of the best all-round amateurs of the present day; a fine bat, with plenty of h it ; a first-rate fast bowler and good field; scored over a thousand runs in first-class cricket last season. M il l ig a n , L. W.—A good steady bat; useful bowler, and excellent field; made a marked advance as an all-round cricketer last season. S e l l a r s , A.—One of the best amateur bats, with sound defence; especially good on the off-side; safe out-field ; unable to play last season. S m ith , E. (Clifton and Oxford).—One of the best amateur cricketers; a bat with plenty of power, and very dangerous when set; bowls very fast, and on certain wickets most effective; good field; unfortunately for the County, only able to assist on a few occasions last season. W oodhead , F. G. (Loretto).—A good steady batsman; fair change bowler, and smart field. M it c h e l l , G . (Cambridge), and W il son , C. E . M .
