(Cambridge).—A good sound bat, with plenty of patience; can hit hard; good field and useful slow bowler. C rawford , S. 1).—Fair bat and useful wicket-keeper. C rocker , J. A. (Eton and Cambridge).—Good bat; fair change bowler, and active field. H ill , H. J.—An excellent bat, and good change bowler; not quite so successful in 1895. H umbert , C. R.—Free bat, and good field ; bowls occasionally. M etcalfe , E. J (Eton).—Good bat and useful bowler. N ichols , W. H.—A very useful left-hand bat and bowler. P ank , W. H. (Haileybury).—A very useful slow' bowler; did not play much in 1895. P igg , C. (Cambridge).—Is still as good a bat as ever; is now secretary of the County Club, and captains the team with much success. P igg , H. (Cambridge).—Like his brother, a first-rate bat and good fast bowler. P oland , Rev. F. W. (Cambridge).—Good bat and field; also keeps wicket well. P ritchett , G. E. 13. (Charterhouse).—A first-rate wicket-keeper, and has improved as a bat. S haw , Rev. E. D. (Oxford).—An excellent all-round cricketer. S w ift , E. L.—An excellent cricketer, being a fine bat, useful bowler, and a good field ; did not play as often as could be wished in 1895. KENT. A tkins , F. M .— A fa ir ly g o od w ick e t -k eep e r , and a plucky, ha rd -h itt in g . batsman ; on ly p layed on ce in 1895. B ajss , R. S. H. (Tonbridge and Oxford).—A very steady bat, and good wicket keeper; had an average of 24 57 for Kent in 1895, and should be of great assistance to the County next year. B annon , 13. D. (Tonbridge).—Played tw'ice for the county in 1895 ; a very promising bat, and sure to train on into the front rank. B radley , \V. M.—A good fast bowler, and should prove a great a c q u is it io n to the county with more experience ; a poor bat at present. C ooper , C. O . —A very steady batsman, w'ith good defence, and a smart field ; played for Kent on several occasions in 1895, and with success. K e m p , M. C. (Harrow' and Oxford).—A good bat and first-class wicket-keeper; did well in the few matches he took part in last season. K nowles , W . L. (Hurst College).—A good bat and capital field ; only able to play in four matches last season. L ivesay , R. O IL (Wellington).—Made his debut for Kent last season; is a good bat and smart field, and likely to prove of great assistance to the County next year. L e F leming , J. (Tonbridge).—A dangerous bat when set; fine field. M akchant , F. (Eton and Cambridge).—A good bat and field; a very fast run- getter when set; not so successful in 1895.
