THE UNIVERSITIES AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN 1 8 95 . 2 0 1 W e s tm in s t e r S chool E l e v e n in 1895.— C. I). Fisher (captain): Was away for the first part of the term. Played some very good innings, but was less successful with the ball. A . Whitlow : A hard-hitting bat, but wants more defence. A good field, and sometimes useful as a change bowler. jj. J. Moon: The most consistent scorer in the team. Played some brilliant innings. His cutting is especially good. Kept wicket on occasions very well, but, as a rule, not so good in this department as last year. II. E. More ; A very useful all-round player. A strong bat, with plenty o f confidence, and an excellent bowler. Should be very useful next year. II. O . C. Beasley: A good bat, with excellent defensive powers. Can hit at times. A good field in the country. W. F . F o x : An unlucky bat, but at times showed good form. A very good field. *S. C. Prohyn: A splendid left-hand bowler. Varies his pace well and comes back a good deal. He really did all the work in this department. Disappointing as a bat. C. Van der Guckt: Away for a good many matches, but when he played showed great promise. Has some very good strokes on the on-side. A smart field. R. N. B laker : W ill undoubtedly be o f great service next year. He has already shown good hitting powers. A splendid field. II. E. Murray: A very fair left-hand bowler, but rather uncertain of his length. As a bat (left-handed) has some good strokes on the off-side, but wants life. W IN C H E S T E R CO L LEG E .
