A. (Sherborne and Oxford). A really first -class all-round cricketer ; a sound bat, and very effective bowler-slow round, with a great break from leg ; good field ; unable to play last year. O'BRIEN, T. C. (Oxford). A very dangerous batsman, scoring very fast whenset ; drives and cuts with great power ; good field . SCOTT, S. W. A thoroughly sound and dependable bat, hitting well all round; a moderatefield . STODDART, A. E. One of the best amateur batsmen, combining power and freedom of style ; has no superior as an out-field ; a very useful change b o w l e r. WEBBE, A. J. (Harrow and Oxford). Abatsman with excellent defence ; cutting very smartly ; still one of the very best bats in England on a difficult wicket ; a safe field. DOUGLAS, J. (Cambridge ). Plays for Middlesex .
