Byng (1892)- H a sthe making of a good bat in him, though has had little luck this year. Auseful slow bowler , fields well at cover -point . P. S. Grieg (1893 )-Willmakea good bat. A good slow bowler with easy delivery . Acapital field , especially in the country . G. C. Holgson (1893)--A useful mediumpaced bowler. Afair bat, and promises to improve if energetic enough . A very bad field . A. D. м. Cruickshank (1894)- T h esafest bat in the team. Plays a sound game, andhas improved immensely. Notsmart enough in the field . H. M. Farmar(1894)- A good slow right -hand bowler, who uses his head well . A poor bat as yet. G. C. S. McLeod(1894 )- Adisappointing bat. Useful change bowler, and a plucky field . H. Nicholson (1894 )--Afair mediumpaced bowler , whokeeps a good length as a rule . Apoor bat and field . C. L. Smith (1894 )- Should make a useful bat. Makessomegood strokes , but is very uncertain. Moderatefield . Showssome promise behind the wickets . A. H. Villetard (1894)- A nawkwardbat, with some scoring powers . A very safe field . Always does his best .
