More(Captain ) : Has proved a goodcaptain , managing the bowling well ; as a batsman was not a success , though oftenheproved a useful change bowler . C. D. Fisher : Hasagain been the main- stay of the bowling , though his average is not as good as last year ; in batting has not been as consistent as last year. *A. R. Severn : the most attractive bat and fastest scorer in the team, his driving being especially hard andclean ; good field , andfair change bowler . A. Whittow : Goodfast bowler on his day, but has fallen off in pace ; indifferent bat. L. J. Moon: Abrilliant batsman whenset , his cutting being especially noteworthy and well-timed ; an excellent wicket -keeper . *E. P. Garret: Avery steady batsman with excellent defence , a useful manto go in first ; areally good field at cover -point andsafe catch . H. O. C. Beasley : Hits very hard, andmadethe highest score of the season , but weakin defence ; a good out-field .. R. E. More: Asa batsman, began the season well, but fell off near the end ; very .goodchange bowler , nearly always getting wickets . *J. A. Robertson : Played several useful innings towards the close of the season , but weak in defence ; fair field . W. F. Fox: Apatient batsman, several times proving useful ; should be goodnext year ; uncertain field . S. C.
