Dashwood (Captain ) : Hasbeen consistently unlucky in matches , though apparently in good form in practice ; should develop a freer style and make more use of his reach . A fine field anywhere, and has been most successful as captain . R. O. H. Livesay : A thoroughly fine bat with very taking style ; sound defence and good hitting powers , his driving being especially free and hard. Goodfield and fair change bowler. E. H. V. Weigall : A good medium bowler , keeping a steady length and coming quick off the pitch ; should learn to adapt himself to a fast wicket ; with stronger break and more variety should become a really good bowler ; good up-standing bat with a good cut and off -stroke ; good field . A. R. Vincent : A muchimproved wicket keep ; has been in capital form whenhe has played. A useful hitter . A. W. White : Astrong free bat, cutting and driving well ; loses by not standing up straighter ; fair change bowler ; good field . C. O. B. Blewitt : Aslow and careful bat with some nice strokes , but wanting in power and quick- ness ; very fair field and change bowler . K. E. Money: Hasbowled very well at times , and been useful throughout ; comes quick off the pitch , but is unsteady anduncertain in length ; much improved bat. W. W. Cooper : A plucky and spirited bat ; hits hard and cuts cleverly ; defence weak at present ; good field close in. E. W. Elliot : Bats in extremely good style and is very strong off his legs , but weak on the off ; improved field ; can bowl. K. D. S. D. M. Thorburn : Hits hard, but too recklessly ; has a cumbrous style whenon the defensive , and is vague in his forward play ; should stand straighter and play quicker . Т. А. Headlam: Has played some good innings ; hitting hard andclean ; but has not a very sound defence , especially on the leg side ; good field . W E S T M I N S T E R S C H O O L . Captain for I894-J. F.
