Ourn e w'Special Driver' Bat(Frowd's Patent)has given results hitherto unattained by anyother Bat, the driving power being greater , andstinging or concussion to the hands is reduced practically to nil. Areduction in weight of fromone to two ounces is also effected . T h esuccess of this Batsince its first introduc- tion some years ago, was altogether unprece- dented in the annals of Cricket , and this has been fully confirmed by the results of the subse- quent season . Theopinions expressed as to its superiority to any other Bat are unanimous, and w eare constantly receiving great numbers of perfectly spontaneous testimonials concerning it, someof them being quite enthusiastic , from all parts ofthe country ,and from the colonies .
