Severn : As good a bat as any in the team; hits hard, and has good defence . Has bowled well on wet wickets . Good field . E. H. Cox : Asafe if ugly bat ; a useful manto go in first . Very safe field anywhere. H. S. Ladell : Has generally played a steady game; but towards theendhas comeout as a hard hitter. H a sproved a consistant run-getter in either capacity , through has made no large scores . A brilliant field , covering a great deal of ground. F. C. Rivaz : Distinctly disappointing , both with the ball and with the bat. Bowled fairly well at the beginning of the season , but fell off greatly towards the end. A. M. Whittow : Good fast bowler on his day. W e a k in batting and fielding , but a good catch . T. H. H. Newman: Has maderuns vigorously on occasion . Erratic , fast bowler . Fair field .
