Rome-A very good bat, hitting hard all round and scoring consistently ; medium pace bowler , keeping a good pitch and able to do any amount of work; very good , safe field . K. A. Wood- ward. Agood steady bat , who could generaly be depended upon ; fair bowler right -medium ; brilliant catch in the long field . J. T. Ferris .-Good pains -taking batbut his nervousness is a great draw-back ; carried his bat through innings against Quidnuncs ; moderate point . J. H. Bullock (Capt. for 1894.)-A good wicket keeper with a soft pair of hands ; poor bat . G. P. Gore .-Fair bat , hitting very hard but with ugly style ; good bowler medium right , getting plenty of spin onthe ball ; good field . C. D. Williams .-Good bat especially on hard ground ; fair field ; can bowl . R. Vibart .- G o o dbat with a very pretty cut ; should be very good next year ; fair bowler ; brilliant field and catch . J. H. Stogdon.- Fairbat, but wants more sinew ; should improve a great deal next year, whenhe has more strength ; good field , especially at short slip . J. W. Sandilands.- Goodfast bowler but perhaps pitches the ball a little too short ; moderate bat and field . R. M. C. Munro.--- Fair bat with a nice cut ; fair bowler but only played in the last three matches ; moderate field . J. A.
