Mordaunt : Avery fine bat, with a beautiful style ; hits hard and clean all round , his cutting and off -driving being especially good ; has immensely improved his defence this year. A brilliant field anywhere , and has occasionally come off as a change bowler . As captain , for the third year in succession , he has been invaluable to his side , and done a great service to the cricket of the school . E. E. Forbes : Ataking bat with good strokes , but weak at starting ; has been handicapped by being unable to play regularly ; good field . *0. C. Raphael : A hard but erratic hitter , with very little defence . Fair field . *W. L. Wilson : A thoroughly sound and correct
