Flowers headed the score with a brilliantly -hit 100 (not out), Shrewsbury scored 77, Gunn66, and Barnes 44. Storer (51) and Bagshaw(86, not out), whoboth hit finely , were responsible for 137 out of 178 in Derbyshire's second innings .
