Blundell : Per- haps the mostreliable bat in the eleven ; has sound defence and cuts finely ; fair field . G. H. Lyon : Acareful and patient bat , but plays too tame agame; brilliant point at times . *R. H. Raphael : A most useful , hard -hitting bat, invaluable in giving confidence to his side ; fair change bowler. *A. F. Fellowes : Avery fair slow bowler , keeping an excellent length : has done good service through- outthe season ; dangerous hard-hitting bat , and with more attention to correct
