Healing : Is a steady and stylish left -handedbat, and drives well to the off ; he was apparently too nervous to do himself justice in the field . H. R. Wansey : Does not use his power yet in batting ; hebowls slow right -hand, and is sometimes deceptive in length ; and is anexcellent field at point . H. N. Perrin : Did good service to the eleven by his painstaking batting ; he bowls slow round -arm occasionally , and fields well . W. A. G. Williams : Bowled very well at times ; he has an easy action , and keeps a good length ; he is a moderate bat , and a sharp and active field . H. G.
