Wilson(4.2) : Didnotcomeupto the expectation formedof him, andowing to illness did not play part of the season ; a very good medium, bowled with good off-break; fair field at cover. H. H. A. B. Jones (25.4 ) : Powerful bat, driving well both to off and on; really good fast bowler , with break back; slow in the field ; fair catch . C. B. Nicholl (6.6) : Very fair bat, but spoilt by nervousness ; strong hitter whenset ; good field as a rule ; can bowl. R. Jones (6.3): Very steady andstraight bat, and should do well ; slow,but pretty sure in the field ; fair changebowler. A. M. Jenkin(4.1) : H a snot comeup to expectations this season, buth a s played somevery useful innings ; excellent field at cover -point . R. S. Jenkin (6.9 ): Thesecond bestbatintheteam; very straight andsteady, playing firmly andwith confidence ; is sureto d owell ; took the wickets with very fair success . D. W. Nicholl (9.2): Avery promising bat,but wantspatience; drives well to the on; safe catch inthe" country" ; very fair mediumbowler, withhigh delivery . T. Davies (4.1 ): Very steady bat, andhas plenty of patience ; will probably make a very useful player ; very smart in the field ; took the fielding prize this season . F. P.
