A n hour anda quarter produced 158 runs.- A tfinish of match between Middlesex and Yorkshire , at Lord's , onJune 20, Mr. T. C. O'Brien scored 100 not out in eighty minutes . The last 100 runs were got in fifty minutes . Seaford College scored 155 in sixty -five minutes against St. Michael's , Lewes, on June 29.- Mr. H. Foley's eleven scored 179 in an hour and a quarter , at Winchester , against the Garrison , on July 4. F. Thomas and E. H. Buckland put on 80 runs in twenty-five minutes .-Plaistow, Kent, made 147 in fifty -nine minutes , against Willesden , at Plaistow , on July 13.-On July 13, at Ewell, Burlington Wanderers scored 224 for seven wickets , v. Ewell, in an hour and three- quarters. SmallScoring: O nSeptember 7, Lillywhite , Frowd, and Co.'s C.C. made57, and whentheir opponents , Snowflakes C.C. , had made 57 runs for five wickets , the remaining five wickets fell for no runs. In a matchbetweenPenarth and Wharton, Cardiff , on June 19, Whartonscored 6, of which one batsman made4, and 2 were byes. -O n September 7, the North Metropolitan Tramways, playing against Dalbarton , were dismissed for 21 runs , all made by H. Greig (not out), theother ten scoring nothing ; nine menwere bowled and one run out.
