Castle : Has greatly improved as a bat since last year ; plays a little too much on leg side ; a good catch in long field . *C. A. P. Wolferstan : A good left -hand bowler, with leg break ; top of average ; a very fair bat, but a little too stiff ; fair field . G. M. Hannay: First in this year ; a good bat ; can cut, drive , and hit well to leg ; a smart field at cover -point , with quick return ; safe catch ; promises well for next year . F. H. W. H o w: Top of averages ; a care- ful anduseful bat ; has a rather ungraceful style , but gets plenty of runs ; good field at point . H. G. Peachey : Agood wicket -keep , and improving bat. F. W.
