On June 1, Masonand Bamford , of Abbey School , Beckenham, dismissed Stratheden House , Blackheath , at Blackheath , in twenty minutes for 5 runs , 4 of which were byes . Masonbowled 30 balls for 1 run and 3 wickets ; Bamford27 balls for 7 wickets and no runs .-During the season Mr. F. Oldham, a fast bowler , of Penge Club , bowled 1210 balls for 433 runs (87 maidens) and 83 wickets (average 5.21 ). H e did the hat trick five times on June 21 against Croydon Revellers in both innings , and on August 13 v. Oakleigh Wanderers he clean bowled 6 wickets in seven consecutive balls , 4 with the first four balls of over, and 2 more with first two balls of next over. 1
