A very promising cricketer ; plays the gamecorrectly ; ought, with practice , to make a first -class batsman; rather slow in the field ; did not assist the County in 1887 . EVERSHED, S. H. (Clifton ). A good bat, and smart field ; did not play last year . EVERSHED, W. (Clifton ) . A good all -round cricketer ; hits very hard whenset ; didnot play for Derbyshire last year . MAYNARD,A. E. J. (Harrow and Cambridge ). Agood bat , and very good field . WALKER, G. G. Acapital left -handfast bowler ; can hit hard ; was of great use to the Countyas anall -roundcricketer ; should be morealert in the field . WRIGHT, S. G. A good bat and field . E S S E X . BISHOP, F.
