Surty : One of the acknowledged Parsi steady bats ; slow overhand change bowler ; was re-elected this year to play the BombayGymkhana. D. N. Daru- vala : A good run-getting bat; excellent field , and a sure catch . P. D. Patell : A good bat , and a fair field . D. R. Gazdar : A good , hard -hitting bat , with defence ; can stand behind the sticks ; has comeoff very successfully with the bat andball this year. S. M. Doctor : Thougha pretty fair bat, has done better than expected ; fields very well all round. R. D. Ayrton: Could not realize the heavyexpectations formed ; was re-elected to play the Gymkhana. B. D. Tata: Has unexpectedly come up fifth in the average , having played only one innings ; is getting better with the leather . S. N. Bhedwar : Could hardly play for the club this season ; however , has done admirably well in the Gymkhana matches. J. L. Billimoria : Has improved a great deal with the bat ; was re -elected to play the Gymkhana. N. N. Writer : A fair bat, and a good over- hand bowler. J. E. Reporter : Is progressing better with the bat, and is generally a successful bowler. C. N. Doctor : A hard hitter , and a good field ; bowls underhand. S. P. Pochkhana : Agood bat, and a pretty fair overhand bowler . A. M. Madon: A promising swift overhand bowler . S. P. Seervai : A fair bat, and a very good field all round. S. P. Choksy : Afair bat, and a good field . E. R. Mody:Is hardly seen at the " nets " ; would do well if more regular . B. H. Kapadia : Apretty fair bat ; ought to be more regular .
