1 4 4. LILLYWHITE'SCRICKETERS' A N N U A L. *B. N. Kellett : A useful but erratic fast bowler ; fairly successful as a bat in afternoon games, but strangely useless in foreign matches . *G. Salmon : Played a fine innings against Malvern, but both in batting and bowling failed to answer expectations . L. H. Lister : Promising cricketer ; kept wicket admirably until the grounds got fiery , and more than once got runs whenthey were needed. P. J. Arnall : Useful bowler, very steady ; kept a good length , and makes the ball rise very quickly from the pitch . R. L. Marshall : Astraight medium-pace bowler, and a good field . *G. H.
