R. Wilkinson : A greatly improved bat , hitting brilliantly when set ; a useful bowler on a hard wicket ; is to be congratulated on winning the two school matches . E. C. Streatfeild : A really first -class bowler , using his head capitally ; gets a lot of break on the ball , and breaks both ways with great variation of pace ; good straight bat , improving towards close of season ; capital field , and safe catch . *J.
