K e n t. Lord's , May 10, 11 , and 12 . Bothsides were well represented , and it wasconsequently a matter for regret that rain should have reduced the game to one day. Whenstumps were drawn on the first night only eleven wickets had fallen for an aggregate of 283 runs , andwith this the twenty-two players had to be content , rain preventing a resumption . Mr. W. G. Grace (80) and Scotton (47) contributed 110 for the second wicket of M.C.C.-more than one-half of the aggregate from the bat- andneither gave a chance . The match was drawn. M.C.C. and Ground, 230. Kent, 53 (one wicket).
