H. M. Braybrooke : A small but useful bat ; unluckythis season ; surest catch in the eleven ; has not always fielded up to form; useful change bowler , can bowl a good yorker . G. J. V. Weigall : Most promising bat, with strong defence ; should practise cutting more; good point . A .H . Wilkinson: W i t hmoreconfidence and strength will m a k ean excellent bat; good short -slip . S. T. Hankey: Goodbat, cutting and driving especially well ; excellent field anywhere on the off -side ; useful change bowler. G. F. Berkeley : Goodand successful mediumleft -hand bowler, but still young ; poor batandfield . *E. S. Blois : Small but excellent wicket -keeper , stumping and catching very smartly ; useful bat, hitting especially well to leg . *A. E. Rids- dale : Hasnot fulfilled early promise in batting , but hits well to leg ; very good change bowler (right -handmedium), and shows wonderful activity in the field ; canthrow anydistance ; sure catch . *I.
