Morenas, whohad to retire hurt in the first innings , and was not able to play afterwards . Altogether , though, their all -round cricket was very moderate, and by no means a strong eleven of the Surrey Club and Ground beat them by an innings and 164 runs . Mr. Major (medium round) took nine of the ten Surrey wickets at a cost of 119 runs . Mr. C. L. Morgan took the last five wickets in the Parsees ' first innings for only one run.
