Thenumberlost corresponded exactly with that of 1884 , and as there was only one addition to the drawngames it will be gathered that the list of victories was longer . Considering the difficul- ties against which the executive of the Club has to contend in carrying out such aheavy card the summaryis an eminently satisfactory one . Cricket in every part of the kingdom benefits from the liberal management of the Marylebone Club, and the success which marked its operations last year cannot fail to be eminently gratifying to every class of cricketers .
