Radnorshire , played at Knighton Aug. 17th and 18th , C. E. Brownin bowling F. C. Cobden, of University renown, hit a bail 41 yards , no wind blowing at the time . I na matchplayed August 8th, 1885 , in the Queen's ParkCricket Ground, Brighton, between the Annunciation C.C. v. Queen's Park(I.O.G.T. ) C.C., the Queen's Park took first innings , scoring 45. Onthe Annunciation going in they scored 45 for the loss of 4 wickets ; Williams then succeeded in taking 5 wickets with 5 balls , A. Gumbrill running out the last man with the next ball . 6 wickets were got with as manyballs , and the score left a tie.-Playing for Forthill Park against Tunstall , E. Walker was put on to bowlwhenthe score stood at 25 for two wickets . The match ended in a draw, Tunstall being 27 for eight wickets at drawing of stumps, Walker having taken thelast 6 wickets (5 clean bowled, 1leg before ) for no runs.
