Address-Beddington, Surrey. JOHNSON, F. Born at Rolvenden, Kent, March14, 1851. 5ft . 6in .; 11st . A left -hand round-arm bowler , rather over medium-pace ; a hard-working field , and can hit hard. A good medium-pace bowler, with considerable break from the off ; can bat well whenhe likes ; wants to improve in the field ; proved of great service to the County during the latter part of last season . A good promising round- arm bowler, with plenty of work, varies his pace and pitch with judg- ment; good field ; and a much improved bat.
