Davar : Agood, steady bat, and a medium-paced over-handbowler ; ill -health has de- barredhimfrom taking part for the last twoyears andmore. P. D. Pauday: A very good, steady bat ; swift under -hand bowler ; excellent field ; had better improve his style . B. N. Patell : Good bat, but at times nervous ; requires to be quicker in the field . S. N. Daruvala : Hasbrilliant hitting powers; very good field and fair change bowler. M. M. Surty : Asound bat; agood field . particularly long stop ; has played the Poona and BombayGym- khanas in 1884-5 . B. D. Mody: A safe wicket-keeper ; not successful as abat ; veryfast round-arm. S. N. Bhedwar : Afair all -round cricketer ; swift , destruc- tive under-handbowler ; very smart at point . R. D. Ayrton : Useful all round, being a neat bat andgood field ; fair under-hand change bowler. D. D.Kanga: Plays steady , sound cricket ; particularly " leg " and " cover ;" at times an effective slow overhand bowler. R. D. Kateli : Auseful medium-paced over- handbowler ; a good bat, having greatly improved this year. D. N. Daru- vala : Agood bat, hitting hard on the off -side ; is a safe catch and a smart field anywhere. D. R. Gazdar : A fine batsman; very smart on the wicket ; occasionally bowls (overhand). P. H. Mody: A very fair bat and fast run- getter ; hits hard on mid-long ; very swift under-hand. R. C. Fitter : Good batandfield .
