Breed (27.26 ) : Goodbat, with strong defence , fair bowler and good field . T. H. Sowden (23.5 ) : Most useful bat and bowler ; plays the gamethoroughly . T. Pride (19.75 ) : Bats with dashing style and effect ; excellent wicket -keeper . J. T. Wisker (17) : Bowls left -hand slows in excellent style , with difficult break ; has played little ,his services being greatly missed. W. R. Nicholson (16) : Good bat, with great hitting powers ; good change bowler . J. L. Procter (13.5 ) : Most patient and painstaking bat ; has bowledwell on several occasions ; an excellent field . TomDudley (13.4 ) : Good field at cover -point ; good bat; the most improved bat in the team during the season . J. W.
