Hamilton : Adark horse only tried at the end of the season ,who came out wonder- fully both as bat and bowler . F. H. O'Donoghue (Hon. Sec.) : Has improved very muchas a bat ; his bowling , though somewhat heavy in style , and expensive at the beginning of the season , was successful on more than one important occasion . W. S. Paskin : Rather slow in the field , and a disappointing bat ; he shows some form, but has not the energy to use it. L. C. Raymond: Avery useful and steady bat ; his fielding was often calamitous . W.J. Richardson : Bats (left hand) with considerable spirit and in promising form. E. W. H. Ritchie : A neffective left -hand bowler , who was of great use throughout the season in spite of the great demands made on his strength ; muchimproved as a bat. G. L. Wilson : A most promising young all-round cricketer ; he bats steadily , andwith good form; fields capitally at point , and is a straight anduseful bowler. C H A R T E R H O U S E S C H O O L .
