Dobinson : Good steady bat ; muchimproved in hitting power since last year ; a safe field . W. M. Tatham : Began the season in great form, but fell off considerably towards the end ; excellent cover-point and good captain . H. T. Arnall : Slow left-hand bowler, with good commandof the ball as regards both pitch and break ; very hard hitter , and made runs frequently when most wanting . W. J. Barry : A pretty bat, butlacking in power ; rather slow in the field . J. A. Dun : Scarcely so successful withthebat as he was last year ; lacks m u c hof his old freedom; fine field at long-leg . A.
