Duthoit : Has been a wonderfully useful slow bowler , whom scarcely anyone has played with confidence the whole season ; is a good field . while his average of 20 speaks for his batting . C. E. Broughton : In a good light is a most reliable bat ; hasa beautiful cut and is a good and energetic field . C. E. Lownds : Hasscored most consistently through the season ; is an excellent field and a very fair bowler indeed . H. E. Caldecott : A very hard-hitting bat ; fair ,but careless , field . T. W. E. Moreton : A verv pretty bat and neat field . F. Colclough : Batsin excellent style andis smartin the field . F.E. Saunders: Agood steady bat, with a strong off-drive ; plucky wicket-keep, and very safe field andcatch . H. G. Amos: Hasshown very good form as a bat ; fields and catches very well and is a very fair wicket-keep. A. E. Shaw: A fair change bowler, and excellent m a nin the field . A.
