Sugg hit finely in the first innings of the County , and he scored 52 out of 90 from the bat. In the second , though , no one but Mr. Docker (34 not out) offered any resistance to the bowling of Spofforth and Giffen , and the result was never in doubt . Spofforth's bowling contributed in no small degree to the easy win of the Australians , who had 40 runs and an innings in hand at the finish . Australians , 273.
