Cambridge fell for 28 runs . Scotton , for M.C.C. and Groundv. Richmond, on June 12, was in two hours for 14 runs. In match M.C.C. and Groundv. Notts, ten wickets fell at one time for 11 runs . The Royal Engineers were dismissed by the Yorkshire Gentlemen for 21 and 43. In amatch between two teams of the Royal Paper Mills , Wandsworth , three innings were completed for totals of 10, 18, and 14. The Bognor Club twice pulled a match" out of the fire " whenapparently hopelessly lost . Priory Park on one occasion had only eight runs to get to beat them, and had five wickets to fall , yet Bognormadea tie of it, getting rid of the said five menfor seven runs . Shortly after , playing Goodwood, the latter had tied the Bognor score with four wickets still in hand, these all , however, fell without an additional run. D. G. Spiro was at the wicket 50 minutes for five runs for Cambridge University v. Yorkshire , on June 2. C. W. Wright , for Notts v. Surrey , on August 6, was in 1 hour 30 minutesfor 8 runs out of 58. Five wickets of Notts v. Yorkshire, at Sheffield , on June 24, fell for two runs. E. Lumb, for Yorkshire v. Middlesex , on August 24, was in four hours and a half for 70 runs . Four wickets of Lancashire , in second innings of match with Yorkshire , on July 6, fell without a run. Five last wickets of Kent v. Lancashire , at Gravesend, fell for nine runs . In a match between Huddersfield v. Todmorden , on May5, five wickets fell without a run. In a match played at Thetford , on August 18, between Mr. F. H. S. Raven's X Iand the St. Nicholas Works, the latter team on going in lost the first six wickets without a single run being made, the total score being five only, of whichonewasabye.
